ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) is Germany's national public television broadcaster. It is an independent non-profit corporation under the authority of the Länder, the sixteen states making up the Federal Republic of Germany.

Digital Television

ZDFvision is ZDF's own digital bouquet of channels, in operation since 1997. The platform is broadcast via satellite (ASTRA 1H) and cable, and carries the main channel ZDF, the partner channels 3sat and Ki.KA, the two partner radio channels Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandradio Kultur, as well as three digital-only thematic channels:
